Our Signature

Hailed from the province of Guangdong in China, a land renowned for its culinary flair and exquisite cuisines, Tong Heng traditional Chinese pastries have had a long and vibrant history as seen in its expanse of tastes and variety in shapes.

Amongst them, the famed Tong Heng Egg Tart stands unrivalled in its ever-increasing popularity. Originally baked in circular and oval shapes, the tarts eventually evolved to the unique diamond shape. The tarts are crafted to fit snugly into a box packaging with minimal movement, thus preventing the delicate pastries from being smashed while being carried in its packaging.

The secret to Tong Heng’s much heralded Egg Tart having the “melt in the mouth” effect lies in its crumbly-layered pastry and velvety smooth egg custard filling.

Our Story

Traditional Chinese Pastries had a long and colorful history; with great varieties of taste and kind from Guangdong Province being the most popular. These pastries found its way to the Far East moving along with the immigrants from China.
